When using a colored concrete, is it necessary to seal it?

Concrete in general will last longer and look better if it is sealed, and with colored concrete, it will help keep the color from fading.

Sealing your concrete also protects the concrete from dirt, water and chemicals getting into the surface and protects the surface from heavy traffic breaking it down.
